15 Oct, 2026Arc Mainnet launch
Arc Mainnet went live as an open, institution-operated Layer 1 for tokenized assets, stablecoins, financial markets, real-time payments and agentic activity, with 100+ apps and builders live on day one.
Founding validators include BlackRock, DTCC, ICE, Mastercard, Visa, Standard Chartered, Galaxy, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Sumitomo Corporation and Worldpay.
The 10bn ARC genesis supply is unavailable until a planned Proof-of-Stake transition in 2027; network fees remain payable in USDC.
The testnet hosted 100+ apps and processed 700mn transactions; the developer community includes 75,000+ active members, 10,000 ambassadors and 1,200+ projects.
Network design and developer tools
Arc supports USDC gas, sub-second finality, opt-in privacy, EVM compatibility, post-quantum signatures and deterministic consensus.
Mainnet launched with USDC, USYC, EURC and 14 partner stablecoins covering countries with 1.3bn people and 45% of global GDP.
CCTP and the interoperability stack connect assets across 20+ networks; Arc App Kits, Arc Studio and Arc Portal support app development, security checks and natural-language interactions.
Planned Arc Sectors target privacy, high-volume payments and agents; the privacy sector is designed to encrypt balances and transaction details while allowing scoped auditor and regulator access, and the Payment Sector targets 100,000+ TPS.
Institutional and ecosystem participation
More than 100 global banks, asset managers, payment networks, exchanges, custodians, DeFi protocols, wallets and AI platforms are live or onboarding; named partners include BNY, HSBC, Societe Generale, State Street, Janus Henderson, Binance, Coinbase, Aave and Morpho.
Payments, trading, lending, FX and asset issuance were highlighted use cases across DeFi, institutional and consumer applications.
Ripio demonstrated near-instant on-chain BRL/ARS exchange through Uniswap; institutional FX access through StableFX is planned.
Extended plans to expand from 40–50 single-name perpetual markets toward hundreds or thousands; eToro cited Arc infrastructure for 24/7 trading access.
Uniswap v4 is planned for day one; Centrifuge said Janus and New York Life products were live and connected to Morpho and Aave, while Morpho cited $200mn on its Arc deployment.
