Sales performance

• Net sales for August reached $19.83 billion, up 7.1% from $18.51 billion last year.

• Fourth quarter net sales were $78.2 billion, a 1.0% increase over the prior year quarter.

• Fiscal year net sales totaled $249.6 billion, up 5.0% from the previous year.

• Total company comparable sales rose 5.0%, with e-commerce up 22.9% in August.

• Comp traffic increased 6.6% worldwide and 6.0% in the U.S.

Comparable sales growth

• August comparable sales rose 4.7% in the U.S., 4.5% in Canada, and 7.5% internationally.

• E-commerce comparable sales surged 22.9% in August.

• For the fiscal year, comparable sales increased 5.0% in the U.S., 8.1% in Canada, and 6.9% internationally.

• E-commerce comparable sales grew 16.1% for the year.

Comparable sales excluding fuel and FX

• Excluding gas and FX, total comparable sales increased 7.1%, with e-commerce up 23.3% in August.

• August comparable sales excluding fuel and FX: U.S. 6.7%, Canada 5.8%, international 10.8%.

• Fiscal year comparable sales excluding fuel and FX: U.S. 5.0%, Canada 8.1%, international 6.9%.
