Outlook and guidance
SBS 2030 entered its FY27–FY30 Scale phase, targeting a mid-sized, full-service private-sector bank with national presence and broader products, partnerships and customer offerings.
Balance-sheet growth guidance remains 30%-50% faster than system growth; faster growth is expected from FY28, subject to building the liability franchise.
FY27 ROA is expected between 1.29% and 1.5%; the FY28 target is 1.5%-1.8%, likely closer to 1.5%. NIM target is 3.75%-3.8%.
Next-FY priorities include retaining ~3.75% NIM, reducing cost of funds from 6.55% to ~6%, and growing CASA faster than term deposits; gold advances are targeted at ~50% of the book by year-end and 32% by 2030.
