Becoming the global No.1 brand has been UNIQLO’s goal since its founding; the pursuit is entering a new stage.
UNIQLO appeared on TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies list and ranked 47th in Interbrand Best Global Brands 2025.
In Southeast Asia, UNIQLO aims to be the first-choice global brand for markets shaped by young consumers and a global middle class.
FY2026 performance and LifeWear
FY2026 consolidated revenue was ¥3.9633 trillion, up 16.6% YoY, and business profit was ¥718.4 billion, up 30.4%; record performance for the fifth consecutive year.
UNIQLO operations recorded higher revenue and profit across all regions; store visits, primarily at UNIQLO International, rose ~10% YoY to over 600 million.
LifeWear customer feedback consistently ranks comfort and feel as the top product consideration across North America, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Europe.
Around 20 million LifeWear magazine copies have been released worldwide, supporting efforts to convey the LifeWear concept and grow its fan base.
Customer-led product development
Received 42.01 million customer feedback items in FY2026; feedback is shared across teams and with Tadashi Yanai to inform product refinement.
Product development draws on global designers and sales feedback; linen ranges and HEATTECH Cashmere Blend are cited as continuing hit essentials.
Customer requests prompted the AIRism 3D Masks re-release in Japan after over 1,000 requests; the Fall/Winter 2026 AIRism Seamless V-neck Camisole re-release is also popular.
Local R&D teams and year-round merchandising are expanding global opportunities; Summer T-shirts and casual outerwear are now sold beyond traditional seasons.
