Q4 2023 earnings summary
15 Oct, 2026Executive summary
Record full-year Infrastructure Adjusted EBITDA and Distributable Cash Flow for a second consecutive year; consolidated Adjusted EBITDA rose 13% YoY to $590 million.
Closed the US$1.1 billion South Texas Gateway Terminal acquisition; CEO Steve Spaulding announced his intention to retire, with a successor search planned.
Financial highlights
Revenue was $11,015 million for FY2023 and $2,810 million in Q4, relatively consistent YoY as lower commodity prices were offset by higher volumes and Gateway revenue.
Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA was $590 million FY and $170 million Q4, up $69 million or 13% YoY for the full year.
Net income was $214 million FY and $53 million Q4, down $9 million or 4% YoY; higher EBITDA was more than offset by acquisition and integration costs and higher finance costs.
Distributable Cash Flow was $386 million FY and $103 million Q4, up $30 million or 8% YoY.
Outlook and guidance
Net debt to Adjusted EBITDA is expected to remain temporarily elevated until 12 months of Gateway Terminal Adjusted EBITDA are reflected in the ratio.
A quarterly dividend of $0.41 per share, up $0.02 or 5%, was approved, beginning with the dividend payable in April.
Growth plans include incremental infrastructure projects and continued progress toward the Net Zero by 2050 goal; outcomes and timing remain subject to forward-looking risks.
