Contract wins and workload
Goodwin Steel Castings secured additional contracts for naval hull components, increasing the group workload to £298 million by end of August.
Radiography facility expansion
US Government awarded $14.5 million in grant funding for four new High Power 9 Mev radiographic facilities at GSC.
New facilities will boost capacity for high integrity casting testing and are expected to be operational by end of 2025.
These will complement two existing 24/7 radiography facilities at GSC.
