H2 2025 earnings summary
30 Oct, 2026Executive summary
FY2025 revenue rose 3.9% to S$81.2m, but a S$10.1m net loss reflected non-cash fair value and impairment charges that outweighed operating gains.
Hospitality remained the largest revenue driver; recurring Singapore property income and higher associate/JV earnings partly supported performance.
Priorities for FY2026 include cost and balance-sheet discipline, efficiency through automation and digitalisation, differentiated hospitality and selective acquisitions.
Financial highlights
Revenue was S$81.180m versus S$78.160m in FY2024; loss before tax was S$7.223m versus profit before tax of S$3.787m.
Net loss was S$10.051m versus net profit of S$0.725m; loss attributable to owners was S$9.259m and EPS was -1.90 cents, versus -0.28 cents.
Non-cash charges included S$2.435m derivative fair value losses, S$0.429m investment-security fair value loss, S$0.916m hotel impairment and S$4.945m financial-asset impairment.
Finance expense declined to S$26.603m from S$29.510m, mainly with lower bank borrowing rates; operating cash flow remained negative at S$0.286m, improving from negative S$2.167m.
Outlook and guidance
FY2026 outlook is cautiously optimistic; focus areas include operational discipline, prudent risk management, differentiated hospitality, value-adding acquisitions and active balance-sheet management.
Singapore’s 2026 GDP growth forecast is 2%–4%; visitor arrivals are forecast at 17–18m and tourism receipts at S$31.0–32.5bn.
UK hotel RevPAR growth is forecast at ~1.5% for regional hotels; higher operating costs, including the April 2026 minimum wage increase, are expected to pressure margins.
Automation and digitalisation are intended to support efficiency; the Upper Thomson Road JV is expected to expand the residential and commercial development pipeline.
