LD Micro 20th Annual Main Event Conference summary
21 Oct, 2026Business profile and recent developments
Portfolio includes five owned music festivals and two ticketing platforms: TicketSmarter and Kustom Tickets.
Country Stampede attendance rose from 18,000 in 2024 to over 26,000 the following year and a record over 42,000 in its third year under new ownership.
A Gilley's arrangement more than doubles potential event capacity; the video division was sold for $6.1 million.
TicketSmarter may have over 48 million tickets available on a given day and has relationships with colleges and universities.
Tickets For Less acquisition and synergies
Pending Tickets For Less acquisition would add sports ticketing relationships, including with the Chiefs, Titans, Ohio State and Indiana, complementing music-focused operations.
Tickets For Less has operated since 2004 and was profitable through the pandemic despite a 57% revenue decline in 2020; management said it still generated over $4.5 million that year.
Tickets For Less has 25 entities using its ticketing software, and its larger partnerships account for about 70% of its business.
Management cited over $42 million in personal seat licenses and said Tickets For Less may indirectly control nearly 8,000 Titans seats at a new stadium planned to open in 2027.
Ticketing, distribution and venue relationships could support music events, sports partnerships and expanded access to concessions, merchandise and parking revenue.
Events and growth plans
Country Stampede has operated for 30 years; the current Gilley's venue can support 25,000–35,000 attendees per day, versus prior capacity of about 16,000.
Country Stampede Nevada is planned for 2028 on 102 acres behind Circus Circus on the Las Vegas Strip.
Artist offers for 2027 were already out, with planning underway for 2028 bookings.
Management said festival events could achieve 30%–40% margins when rights include concessions, parking and camping, subject to venue economics.
