16 Jul, 2026Geological setting and regional context
Pampa Medina is a manto-style, stratabound copper-silver deposit within a large sedimentary basin in northern Chile, drawing geological parallels to major global copper districts such as the African Copper Belt and Kupferschiefer.
The Sierra Medina property covers approximately 14,500 hectares, with multiple exploration areas including Pampa Medina, Madrugador, and Sierra Norte.
The deposit features unique mineralization and alteration, with copper-silver correlation and ultra-high-grade zones exceeding 10% copper.
Mineralization is defined over more than 4 sq km, with the broader basin covering approximately 46 sq km, indicating significant organic growth potential.
The stratigraphy includes thick sequences of volcanics, sandstones, shales, and tuffs, with mineralization controlled by major fault systems such as the Ancla and Sierra Valenzuela faults.
Drilling, mineralization, and resource development
Over 39,500 meters of RC and DDH drilling have been completed, with historic drilling totaling more than 41,000 meters, delineating significant copper mineralization and multiple intercepts exceeding 1% Cu.
Step-out drilling at 150 m and 300 m intervals confirms lateral and depth continuity of high-grade and ultra-high-grade copper zones, with composite thicknesses of >0.5% Cu exceeding 70 meters in some holes.
High-grade copper-silver zones are associated with bornite, chalcopyrite, covellite, and chalcocite, with silver grades generally correlated to copper.
Drilling has delineated mineralization across a 2.5 km by 1.5 km area, with high-grade zones remaining open to the north, south, and west.
The maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) is targeted for H1 2027, based on ongoing delineation drilling across the initial area of interest.
Sampling, QA/QC, and technical validation
Drilling used RC collared and diamond-tailed holes, with continuous 2m sampling and over 95% recovery rates.
Samples were prepared and assayed by Andes Analytical Assay Ltd., with multi-element ICP analysis and a full QA/QC program including blanks, standards, and duplicates.
True widths are estimated at 80% of reported intervals, and all data is managed under strict protocols for accuracy and security.
Technical information was reviewed by a Qualified Person/Competent Person in accordance with NI 43-101 and JORC standards.
All exploration results and resource estimates comply with JORC and NI 43-101 standards, with competent persons overseeing data integrity.
