Outlook and guidance
Nordic construction and civil engineering demand remained good overall; housing and commercial offices were weaker, with Swedish housing recovering gradually and Norway and Finland slower to recover.
Housing investment was expected to increase from low levels, while civil engineering investment was expected to remain high; public-sector and industry investment supported premise construction.
SEK 20bn of preliminary Construction and Civil Engineering contracts could convert to orders over the next two years.
Seasonal conditions typically weaken Industry and Civil Engineering in winter; Q1 is usually the weakest quarter.
