26 Oct, 2026Executive summary
Consolidated net revenue rose 33.1% to ₹123,133 crore; profit for the year increased to ₹9,274 crore from ₹2,571 crore, led by Jaguar Land Rover’s turnaround and higher volumes.
Standalone net revenue grew 34.9% to ₹48,040 crore, while PAT fell 19.1% to ₹1,812 crore amid higher material costs and lower operating margin; prior-year earnings included a net positive ₹958 crore exceptional impact.
Financial highlights
Consolidated PBT reached ₹10,437 crore versus ₹3,523 crore; consolidated PAT was ₹9,274 crore versus ₹2,571 crore.
Standalone turnover was ₹52,136 crore, up 35.9%; PBT was ₹2,197 crore versus ₹2,830 crore and PAT was ₹1,812 crore versus ₹2,240 crore.
Consolidated cash from operations rose to ₹11,240 crore from ₹8,997 crore; net cash used in investing was ₹7,066 crore.
Excluding the prior-year net positive ₹958 crore impact, mainly divestment gains partly offset by a subsidiary preference-share redemption loss, standalone year-on-year profit comparisons are affected by one-time items.
Outlook and guidance
FY12 India GDP growth was expected to moderate to 8%; higher oil and commodity prices and vehicle-loan rates were expected to temper automotive demand.
Input-cost inflation and intensifying competition were expected to pressure margins; planned responses included cost reduction, pricing reviews, and fuel-efficient product launches.
Priorities included expanding international markets and assessing overseas manufacturing; Jaguar Land Rover targeted profitable volume growth, efficiency, and stronger presence in China, Russia, India, and Brazil.
