The first Capital Markets Day marked progress toward independence; an extraordinary shareholders meeting was planned for August, the IT carve-out was well advanced, and standalone functions were established.
Independence is intended to accelerate decisions, focus investment on value creation, support external capital access and enable participation in industry consolidation.
Materials as a Service integrates materials expertise, sourcing, processing, logistics and digital tools; priorities are value-added services, North American expansion and efficiency through transformation, AI and portfolio management.
Strategy has shifted from prioritizing cash generation and exiting Asia toward Europe and North America; Materials as a Service launched in late 2019/early 2020.

Growth pockets for 2024–30E include data centers (~22% CAGR), EV production (~13%), commercial aerospace (~10%) and 3PL/4PL markets (~5%) in Europe and North America.
