Status update summary
14 May, 2026Project and Exploration Progress
Over 4,800 metres drilled at Red Setter, including seven RC holes (1,509m) and six diamond drill holes (3,298.7m), with a final 300m diamond hole underway and operations paused for the wet season.
Drill data, core analysis, and geophysical work are being integrated to refine future drilling targets, with a focus on building a detailed geological model.
Four diamond drill holes have been processed with assays pending; 1,500–1,509 RC samples and about 2,178–2,200 diamond samples are in the lab or expected.
The Red Setter Dome breccia and surrounding Diorite remain key exploration targets based on results to date.
A new Mobile MT survey has been flown over the north-west extension and two smaller tenements, with results being processed.
Infrastructure and Operational Updates
New access road approved and application submitted for a ~30km route between Nifty Copper Mine and Red Setter, with a heritage survey scheduled for early April 2026.
Improved access will facilitate movement of drill rigs and supplies, leveraging Nifty's accommodation, fuel, water, and airport services.
The new road is expected to streamline logistics, reduce costs, and support larger drilling campaigns in 2026.
Weather conditions, including extreme heat and cyclone season, dictate operational pauses and planning cycles.
Timeline and Next Steps
All assay results expected by February, with drilling to resume after the wet season, likely in April, pending weather conditions.
Consolidation of structural and assay data will inform the next phase of drilling and exploration.
All RC and diamond drill samples will be submitted for fire assay and multi-element analysis, with results expected over the coming months.
