15 Oct, 2026Mission and platform
Mission centers on scalable SAF and other renewable fuels using agricultural waste and residue feedstocks, modular infrastructure, operational excellence, domestic energy resilience and emissions reduction.
New Rise Reno is an operating Nevada facility with 38M gallons of annual nameplate capacity; modular design is intended to support replication at additional sites.
Axens HEFA technology processes waste- and residue-based feedstocks; listed sources include used cooking oil, animal fats, plant oils, distillers corn oil and crude degummed soybean oil.
Reno operations and commercial model
As of Sept. 30, 2026, Reno had produced 2.6M+ gallons since restart and reached 85K+ gallons produced and shipped per day, nearing stated nameplate of 105K–110K gallons per day.
September shipments included 1.4M gallons of renewable diesel and generated $12M+ in gross product sales; renewable diesel production continues, with SAF production targeted to resume as early as Q4 2026.
A six-year BGN INT agreement provides 100% of non-food feedstock and makes BGN INT the priority buyer for SAF and renewable diesel; BGN INT also handles offtake transport, storage and terminal logistics.
On-site rail, trucking and blending support Reno operations; the facility uses co-generation, off-gas energy recovery and water recovery initiatives.
Growth strategy and expansion
Growth pillars are domestic facility expansion and feedstock control, international licensing and partnerships, and market consolidation using scale and public equity.
A 15-year New Rise Australia license provides 10% non-diluted equity, licensing fees, a board seat and startup-cost recovery; four facilities are planned across Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland and New Zealand.
Reno 2 is an adjacent SAF development opportunity; Wilson, NC and Fort Myers, FL are under site analysis for SAF, renewable fuels or related infrastructure.
A pending Southern Energy Renewables and DevvStream merger is presented as a platform combining fuels and environmental assets; the planned St. Charles, LA facility is described at 28M gal/yr SAF and 220K mt/yr green methanol.
The Southern Energy Renewables opportunity also lists 26M gallons of eSAF by 2032, with marine, truck and rail access and modular design.
