Interim dividend of 2.0cps (20% franked) declared, with a targeted payout of 2.0cps per half through 2025.
Strong momentum in cashflows, especially in Platforms (net cashflows up 98.7%) and positive flows in Super & Investments.
AUM increased 10.1% to $153.9B, supported by positive market movements and net inflows.
Financial highlights
Total revenue increased to $632M for the half, up 1.8% year-over-year.
EBIT up 14.1% to $178M; controllable costs fell by 4.4% to $303M, improving cost-to-income ratio to 59.4%.
Underlying ROE improved to 7.4% (up from 6.5% in 1H24).
Investment income declined 17.1% due to capital returns and interest rate environment.
AMP Bank total loans grew to $23.5B, up from $22.9B in 1H24.
Outlook and guidance
Margin guidance maintained at 43bps for Platforms and 63bps for Super/Investments for FY25.
AMP Bank NIM expected to remain at 1.3% for FY25.
Controllable costs targeted at $600M for FY25, with business simplification to complete in FY26.
Board targets a dividend payout of 2.0cps per half through 2025, subject to economic conditions.
Partnerships anticipated to deliver ~10% p.a. return on investment through the cycle.
