Atlas Corp. is a Delaware corporation formed in October 2015 and operates as an independent charter owner, operator, and manager of containerships serving the containerized freight transportation market, which connects manufacturers and consumers by sea. Atlas Corp. owns and operates a fleet of modern, fuel-efficient containerships that work with various shipping companies, including CMA CGM (“CMA CGM”), the world’s third largest container shipping company based upon vessel capacity. The Company has built a high-quality fleet of vessels that work in an industry characterized by significant barriers to entry. Each ship in the Company’s fleet is considered highly sought after due to its size and fuel efficiency, which helps contain operating costs, and their age limits competition from other ships seeking charters in their class.
