Executive summary
Revenue rose 10.7% year-over-year to HK$496.9 million for the six months ended 30 September 2025, driven by strong securities brokerage performance and active market conditions.
Net profit after tax attributable to shareholders increased 4.8% year-over-year to HK$326.9 million, with earnings per share at 19.26 HK cents.
The Group expanded its client base, with total accounts reaching 602,653 and client assets up 34.4% to HK$86.3 billion.
Financial highlights
Securities brokerage commission income surged 77.4% year-over-year to HK$253.5 million, now 51% of total revenue.
Futures and commodities brokerage income fell 33.4% to HK$52.9 million, reflecting a less active derivatives market.
Interest income from margin financing dropped 21.5% to HK$128.8 million due to lower HIBOR, despite a 13.1% increase in average daily margin borrowings.
Operating expenses decreased 12.7% to HK$262.2 million, but net profit margin slipped to 65.8% from 69.5%.
No interim dividend was declared for the period.

Management expects continued strong trading momentum in Hong Kong stocks, supported by robust southbound capital flows and a pipeline of over 260 IPOs.
The Group plans to further invest in technology, client services, and promotional activities to expand market share.
Confidence remains high in Hong Kong’s role as a financial hub and in the recovery of the Mainland China economy.
