Opening remarks and agenda
AGM opened with quorum present; notice had been circulated to shareholders on August 26, 2026.
Agenda included chair and CEO addresses, Q&A, then two ordinary resolutions for shareholder questions and poll voting.
FY 2026 annual report and audited financial statements had been circulated; the chair invited comments during Q&A.
Financial performance review
FY 2026 net profit after tax was NZD 1.97m, up 91.8% YoY; total system sales rose 2.93% to NZD 111.4m and group revenue rose 2.23% to NZD 25.5m.
New Zealand system sales across three brands and 66 restaurants increased 4.12% to NZD 108m.
Cash closed FY 2026 at NZD 6.1m, versus NZD 4.8m a year earlier, after NZD 1.34m of cash investment in property, equipment and technology; there was no debt.
Results benefited from no recurrence of substantial legal costs incurred in FY 2024 and FY 2025, plus a NZD 288,000 one-off gain on the Ponsonby store sale.

Alan Gourdie introduced independent directors Tristram van der Meijden and Tyrone Foley, CEO and director Josef Roberts, and CFO and Company Secretary Mark Piet.
Josef Roberts stood for re-election as a director retiring by rotation under the constitution.
