Executive summary
Global business grew 13.55% year-over-year to INR 26,78,963 crores, with advances up 13.74% and deposits up 13.4%.
Net profit rose 18.93% year-over-year to INR 4,774 crores, and operating profit increased 12.2% to INR 8,588 crores.
Asset quality improved, with gross NPA at 2.35% (down 138 bps) and net NPA at 0.54% (down 45 bps) year-over-year.
Retail credit grew 29.11% year-over-year, housing loans up 15.25%, vehicle loans up 25.58%, and MSME loans up 12.7%.
Unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for H1 FY2025-26 showed continued growth in income and profitability.
Financial highlights
Standalone net profit for H1 FY2025-26 was INR 9,525.99 crores, up from INR 7,919.81 crores year-over-year.
Net interest income for the quarter was INR 9,141 crores, up 1.47% sequentially; total income reached INR 38,598 crores, up 11.17% year-over-year.
Non-interest income surged 41.62% year-over-year to INR 7,054 crores, driven by higher fee-based and treasury income.
EPS (annualized) was INR 21.01, up 21% year-over-year.
Provision coverage ratio at 93.59% as of 30.09.2025.
Outlook and guidance
Out of 13 annual guidance parameters, 11 have been achieved; focus remains on improving CASA and NIM.
NIM (global) at 2.52% was below the 2.75–2.80% guidance; expected to remain stable for one more quarter.
Net profit for the year expected to exceed INR 20,000 crores, up from INR 17,400 crores last year.
