Cherry Hill Mortgage Investment Corporation is a real estate investment trust that acquires and invests in residential mortgage assets. The Company's portfolio of investments include first-lien mortgage securities issued by the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities issued by GNMA, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, or private label residential mortgage-backed securities issued by a bank or mortgage company. It also invests in loans, second maturities, residuals and interest only strips.
