Executive summary
Q3 revenue reached TWD 150.3 billion, a record high, up 34% year-over-year and 21% sequentially, driven by strong server power and liquid cooling shipments.
Gross profit hit TWD 52.4 billion, up 34% year-over-year, with gross margin at 34.9%.
Operating profit rose 51% year-over-year and 33% quarter-over-quarter to TWD 24.8 billion, with OP margin at 16.5%.
Net profit after tax was TWD 18.6 billion, up 51% year-over-year and 33% sequentially; Q3 EPS reached 7.16, a new high.
For the first three quarters, revenue was TWD 393.3 billion, up 28% year-over-year, and net profit after tax was TWD 42.8 billion, up 53% year-over-year.
Financial highlights
Q3 EBITDA was TWD 35.4 billion, up 45% year-over-year and 32% quarter-over-quarter, with EBITDA margin at 23.5%.
Gross margin for Q3 was 34.9%, slightly down from 35.5% in Q2, mainly due to product mix and inventory adjustments.
OpEx ratio declined to 18.4% in Q3 from 20.3% a year ago, reflecting operating leverage.
Year-to-date gross profit was TWD 134.3 billion, up 32% year-over-year, with gross margin at 34.1%.
Year-to-date operating profit reached TWD 57.5 billion, up 56% year-over-year, with operating margin at 14.6%.
Outlook and guidance
Strong demand for data center and AI-related products expected to continue into Q4 and next year, though management remains cautious due to fast-changing market conditions.
U.S. capacity expansion will be gradual, with meaningful output expected in about two years.
