Eagle Materials Inc’s Heavy Materials segment offers portland and masonry cement, concrete and aggregates, blended cement, ready-mix concrete, slag, and fly ash. Its Light Materials segment provides gypsum wallboard, recycled paperboard paper, glass fiber materials and reinforcements for construction insulation, reinforced composite materials for the transportation, marine, renewable energy, and general industrial markets; gypsum fiberboard for interior commercial walls; specialty plasters; and perlite. The company’s Oil and Gas Proppants segment offers ceramic proppant products used to enhance recovery rates of hydrocarbons from oil and natural gas wells. It also owns interests in certain joint ventures that produce wallboard; bags and films; a cement plant; a lime plant in Texas; a paper mill in Kentucky; and other material-based assets. Eagle Materials Inc. was founded in 1963 is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
