Executive summary
Q2 FY27 mutual fund QAAUM reached ₹11,608.19bn, up 14.4% YoY, with 13.3% market share and the second-largest industry position.
Q2 operating revenue rose 16.3% YoY to ₹16,737.9mn; PAT increased 6.1% to ₹8,889.6mn, but fell 7.8% QoQ as mark-to-market-driven other income declined.
The Board approved an interim dividend of ₹30 per share, with October 21, 2026 as the record date.
Financial highlights
Q2 operating expenses were ₹4,930.0mn, up 17.9% YoY; operating profit before tax was ₹1,181 crore, up 15.7% YoY.
Q2 PBT rose 9.6% YoY to ₹11,977.0mn; operating revenue increased 7.0% QoQ while PAT declined 7.8%.
H1 operating revenue was ₹32,380.1mn, up 16.9% YoY; operating profit before tax increased 17.8% to ₹22,806.4mn.
H1 PBT rose 15.0% to ₹24,783.5mn and PAT increased 14.3% to ₹18,535.9mn.
Segment performance
Equity schemes QAAUM was ₹6,591.81bn, up 16.3% YoY, with 13.7% market share; equity-oriented hybrid QAAUM reached ₹2,288.58bn, up 19.7%, with 26.4% share.
Passive MF QAAUM grew 33.2% YoY to ₹2,013.31bn; debt MF QAAUM declined 9.1% to ₹1,809.57bn.
Alternates QAAUM was ₹809.65bn, including PMS ₹307.91bn, AIF ₹242.60bn and advisory AUM ₹259.14bn; PMS AUM grew 21.4% YoY.
SIF quarterly average AUM rose to ₹4,948 crore from ₹2,678 crore in Q1 FY27; four funds had launched, with a fifth planned for the quarter.
September systematic transactions, including SIPs and STPs, were ₹4,672 crore versus ₹4,872 crore in June.
