IDEX Corporation operates through three segments: Fluid & Metering Technologies, Health & Science Technologies, and Fire & Safety/Diversified Products. The Fluid & Metering Technologies segment offers precision fluidics, fluid-handling components and systems, industrial pumps, and meters and related products. It also provides pumps for chemical transfer, drug discovery, quality assurance testing and other purposes; positive displacement pumps for use in chemical injection in oil/gas production processes; hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps for water treatment, wastewater treatment, general industry, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), agriculture, pharmaceuticals, pulp/paper mills and plastic processing industries; dispensing valves that mix fluids of different viscosities to be dispensed from a cartridge or similar container; and pumping systems for the delivery of water treatment chemicals.
