Executive summary
Profit before tax for the six months ended June 30, 2025, rose 5.5% year-over-year to £49.9m, exceeding internal targets, driven by strong demand, credit quality, and growth across all divisions.

Financial highlights
Revenue for H1 2025 was £347.8m, down 6.4% year-over-year, but up 1.9% at constant exchange rates.
Pre-exceptional EPS increased 12.7% to 14.2p; reported EPS up 61% due to prior year exceptional charges.
Annualised revenue yield decreased to 53.3% from 55.4%; cost-income ratio rose to 61.9%.
Annualised ROE improved to 14.7% from 10.4%; pre-exceptional RORE at 15.4%.
Net borrowings at period end were £558m; gearing ratio stable at 1.2x.
Outlook and guidance
Second half profit expected to be similar to 2024 as IFRS 9 Day 1 impairment charges are absorbed.
Receivables growth expected between 15%-20% for 2025; Mexico home credit lending to rise 10%-15%.
Group cost-income ratio targeted to improve to 49–51% medium term; equity to receivables ratio expected to move toward 40% by 2027.
Continued investment in digital products, geographic expansion, and technology to drive future growth.
Returns expected to moderate in 2025–2026 due to accelerated receivables growth in Poland.
