Executive summary
Unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2026 were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on 20th July 2026.
The results reflect continued operations in power, coal, and sand mining segments, with regulatory and legal matters impacting certain assets.
Financial highlights
Consolidated revenue from operations for Q1 FY27 was ₹177,570 lakhs, up from ₹158,316 lakhs year-over-year.
Consolidated net profit after tax for Q1 FY27 was ₹46,884 lakhs, compared to ₹27,813 lakhs in Q1 FY26.
Exceptional item of ₹19,363 lakhs (₹193.63 crores) related to provision for surrender of unviable coal mines impacted profit before tax.
Earnings per share (basic and diluted) for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹0.52, up from ₹0.31 in Q1 FY26.
Outlook and guidance
Management expects no material impact from ongoing legal and regulatory matters, including sand mining and coal mine surrender, on the company’s financial position.
