Trading performance
Sales of resilient sheet flooring remained strong, while luxury vinyl tile sales faced headwinds in Europe and Australia.
UK market share grew, with sales increasing modestly year-on-year and a strong June driven by pre-price increase purchases.
European activity was solid but muted; North America, Middle East, and South Africa saw significant growth over comparatives.
Disruption to global trade routes was less severe than expected, enabling additional business in the Middle East.
Financial outlook
Sales are expected to be marginally below 2025 levels, with profit anticipated to be 10-15% lower than last year.
Cash generation and reserves support a strong, ungeared balance sheet.
Medium-term prospects remain solid despite recent external challenges.
