It operates through three segments: Specialty Property & Casualty Insurance, Preferred Property & Casualty Insurance, and Life & Health Insurance. The Specialty Property & Casualty Insurance segment provides automobile, homeowners, renters, fire, umbrella, general liability, and various other property and casualty insurance to individuals; and commercial automobile insurance to small businesses. The Preferred Property & Casualty Insurance segment offers personal lines of automobile insurance; property coverage for homeowners and renters; voluntary commercial automobile insurance; personal umbrella coverage; specialty commercial vehicle coverages for commercial equipment that travels the highways; commercial package products; personal inland marine coverage for valuable items at home or in transit; and farm owners coverage for farm owners.
