H1 2026 revenue rose 34.8% YoY to RMB541.0m; net profit increased 156.4% to RMB28.9m and adjusted net profit rose 106.9% to RMB29.9m.
Growth was driven by broadcasts of Love Between Lines and The Heart 2, improved short-drama financial performance and tighter budget and expense management.
Financial highlights
Revenue rose from RMB401.3m to RMB541.0m; cost of sales increased 24.4% to RMB373.7m.
Gross profit grew 65.6% to RMB167.3m; gross margin expanded 5.7 percentage points to 30.9%.
Profit before tax was RMB32.5m vs RMB12.7m; net profit was RMB28.9m vs RMB11.3m.
Adjusted net profit, adding back share-based payments, was RMB29.9m vs RMB14.4m; basic and diluted EPS were RMB0.08 each vs RMB0.03.
Mainland China revenue rose to RMB526.4m from RMB367.9m; revenue from other countries and regions fell to RMB14.6m from RMB33.4m.
Outlook and guidance
Annual production target remains 200 drama episodes, with priorities on premium and serialised long-form productions, a stronger pipeline and improved short-drama financial performance.
Small Town Remedy is scheduled for H2 2026 broadcast; Only 35 and Light through the Eternal Storm are planned to begin production in H2.
Overseas plans include multi-region versions of Nothing But Thirty; IP derivatives and AI-enabled workflows are also set for expansion.
