Executive summary
Revenue for the group rose 11% year-over-year for the quarter and 5% for the six months ended 30th September 2025, reflecting continued growth.
Net profit after tax for the group increased 27% year-over-year for the quarter and 19% for the six-month period.
Earnings per share for the group reached Rs. 39.80 for the quarter and Rs. 69.65 for the six months, up from Rs. 31.32 and Rs. 58.56, respectively.
Financial highlights
Group revenue for the quarter was Rs. 35.27 billion, up from Rs. 31.84 billion year-over-year; six-month revenue was Rs. 64.31 billion.
Group gross profit for the quarter was Rs. 8.89 billion, up 25% year-over-year; six-month gross profit was Rs. 15.72 billion.
Group profit after tax for the quarter was Rs. 3.17 billion, up from Rs. 2.50 billion; six-month profit after tax was Rs. 5.57 billion.
Net assets per share increased to Rs. 471.09 as at 30th September 2025 from Rs. 430.25 as at 31st March 2025.
Cash and cash equivalents for the group rose to Rs. 17.25 billion at period end, up from Rs. 13.42 billion at 31st March 2025.
Outlook and guidance
A first interim dividend of Rs. 17.00 per share for the year ending 31st March 2026 was approved after the reporting period.
Management remains confident in the group’s ability to continue operations in the foreseeable future.
