Executive summary
Revenue for the six months ended September 30, 2025, was ¥72,610 million, down 7.2% year-over-year.
Operating income decreased 28.6% year-over-year to ¥10,772 million.
Net income attributable to shareholders fell 42.6% year-over-year to ¥8,194 million.
All major business segments experienced year-over-year declines in both sales and profits, except for the steel structures/machinery segment, which saw growth.
Financial highlights
Gross profit margin declined as sales and operating income both decreased compared to the prior year.
Comprehensive income for the period was ¥15,242 million, up slightly from ¥15,007 million a year earlier due to gains in other comprehensive income.
Cash and cash equivalents at period-end increased to ¥97,085 million from ¥90,140 million at the previous fiscal year-end.
Outlook and guidance
Full-year revenue forecast remains at ¥158,000 million, with operating income and net income forecasts unchanged at ¥21,000 million and ¥15,000 million, respectively.
Interim results represent 46.0% of the full-year revenue forecast and 54.6% of the net income forecast.
Dividend forecast for the year is unchanged at ¥40 per share.
