NeuroPace, Inc. designs and develops devices to treat patients with refractory epilepsy. The company offers RNS System, a responsive neurostimulator device that is attached to the patient's skull, like a halo, and stimulated their brain with tiny electrical pulses. In addition, its product pipeline comprises RNS Stimulator to replace the traditional battery-powered pacemaker described above with a wireless charger; and rechargeable battery; wireless charger that eliminates the need to physically remove the device from the patient’s head in order to power up the battery; RNS Remote Monitor that enables patients to use an iPad application to indicate when they are having seizures or any other relevant symptoms; and RNS Access Manager that serves as an ingenious monitor for physicians and nurses treating patients. NeuroPace, Inc. was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Mountain View, California.
