Newmark Group Inc provides commercial real estate services in the United States and internationally. The company provides leasing and real estate management services to office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the United States. It operates through two segments, Newmark Realty Capital (NRC) and Insignia/ADX. The NRC segment provides real estate financing services on commercial properties and structures secured debt facilities; and direct investments in commercial real estate in the form of acquisitions of fee interests in co-owned office and industrial properties, acquisition of loans secured by commercial properties, contribution agreements; partnership interests in commercial properties along with interest in those partnerships; and equity investments. This segment secures loans and receives fees for arranging debt facilities, including corporate-credit-related matters. The I/ADX segment provides space planning, design, construction management consulting services to office tenants; business park services; and redevelopment services to developers consisting of land disposition, development planning and feasibility analysis, entitlement studies, zoning studies, landscape architectural services, architectural design for new buildings and renovations or adaptive reuse of existing buildings for residential or commercial uses.
