Executive summary
Sales revenue reached record highs in FY2025 H1, increasing year-over-year to ¥351.2 billion, while operating profit remained flat due to yen appreciation and temporary expenses.
Profit attributable to owners rose to ¥53.8 billion, up from ¥50.4 billion year-over-year.
Interim dividend increased to 93 yen per share, with a full-year forecast of 186 yen per share.
Comprehensive income surged to ¥68.4 billion from ¥37.7 billion, driven by improved other comprehensive income.
Financial highlights
FY2025 H1 revenue: ¥351.2 billion (+8% YoY); operating profit: ¥72.0 billion (flat YoY); profit before income taxes: ¥76.1 billion (+6% YoY).
Spark plug sales rose 4% YoY to ¥189.3 billion; sensor sales up 8% to ¥95.8 billion; component solution sales up 23% to ¥61.4 billion.
Operating profit margin decreased to 20.5% from 22.3% YoY.
Earnings per share (basic) rose to ¥270.68 from ¥253.51 year-over-year.
