Executive summary
Unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025 were reviewed and approved by the Board on 12 August 2025.
Statutory auditors issued an unmodified limited review report on the financials for the quarter.
The company operates a single segment: manufacturing and sale of iron and steel products.
Financial highlights
Revenue from operations rose to ₹3,365.22 crore, up from ₹2,022.91 crore year-over-year and ₹2,838.25 crore sequentially.
Net profit for the quarter was ₹25.56 crore, compared to a net loss of ₹547.25 crore in the same quarter last year and a net loss of ₹473.39 crore in the previous quarter.
EBITDA margin improved to 12.71% from -9.57% sequentially and -18.80% year-over-year.
EPS for the quarter was ₹0.09, compared to -₹1.87 year-over-year.
Outlook and guidance
The company’s NCDs are rated ICRA BBB+ (Rating Watch with Developing Implications) and Ind A-/Negative; coupon rate revised to 9.05% effective 5 June 2024.
NCDs are redeemable in full on 28 August 2025.
Strategic disinvestment process is ongoing, with the government planning to divest its 50.79% stake.
