Executive summary
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, rose 4.2% year-over-year to ¥11,446 million.
Operating profit declined 10.3% year-over-year to ¥863 million, and ordinary profit fell 8.2% to ¥896 million.
Profit attributable to owners of parent decreased 8.6% year-over-year to ¥605 million.
Financial highlights
Gross profit increased slightly to ¥2,075 million from ¥2,028 million year-over-year.
Basic earnings per share for the quarter were ¥40.61, down from ¥44.45 a year earlier.
Comprehensive income for the quarter was ¥599 million, down 15.0% year-over-year.
Total assets as of June 30, 2025, were ¥45,855 million, with net assets at ¥35,343 million.
Outlook and guidance
Full-year net sales forecast for fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, is ¥51,000 million, up 1.9% year-over-year.
Operating profit is projected to decline 16.6% to ¥5,100 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent is expected to decrease 3.3% to ¥3,540 million.
Full-year basic earnings per share forecast is ¥237.59.
