Executive summary
Delivered resilient financial results in a challenging market, with a stable customer base of 95.4 million and increased digital engagement, despite post-festival seasonality and SIM price hikes.
AI-driven initiatives, market correction measures, and significant CapEx in network and AI infrastructure contributed to improved profitability and market rationalization.
Revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2025 was Rp27,109,586 million, a 3.1% decrease year-over-year.
Net profit for the period was Rp2,513,251 million, down 14% compared to the same period last year.
The interim consolidated financial statements received a clean review conclusion from the independent auditor.
Financial highlights
Q2 revenue at GBP 13.5 trillion (IDR 13,532 billion), down 0.3% quarter on quarter; 1H25 revenue down 3.1% year-over-year.
EBITDA increased 0.4% quarter on quarter to IDR 6,440 billion, with margin rising to 47.6%.
Normalized net profit for 1H25 was above 1 trillion, down 11.5% quarter on quarter and 21.9% year-over-year.
Net debt increased 33.8% year-over-year to IDR 12,524 billion, with net debt to EBITDA at 0.49x.
Basic and diluted EPS attributable to owners was Rp72.41, compared to Rp84.79 for the same period last year.
Outlook and guidance
Full-year EBITDA guidance revised to low single-digit growth due to prolonged B2C market weakness; revenue guidance unchanged, expecting to outperform market.
CapEx guidance set at $20.25 trillion/IDR 13 trillion for the year, with focus on network and AI expansion.
The Group is assessing the impact of Indonesia's new Global Minimum Tax (PMK-136) effective 1 January 2025.
