Executive summary
Q2 FY 2026 sales reached INR 144,052 million, up 8.6% year-over-year, with gross margin at 79.3% and net profit at INR 31,180 million, up 2.6% year-over-year; EPS at INR 13.
EBITDA grew 14.9% to INR 45,271 million, with margin at 31.3%.
Global innovative medicine sales rose 16.4% to $333 million, now 20.2% of total sales; U.S. innovative sales surpassed generics for the first time.
India, Emerging Markets, and Rest of World led growth; India formulation sales grew 11% to INR 47,348 million, accounting for 32.9% of consolidated sales.
US Formulations Q2 sales were $496 million, down 4.1% year-over-year, with innovative medicines offsetting generics decline.
Financial highlights
H1 sales were INR 281,913 million, up 9.3% year-over-year; H1 EBITDA grew 17% to INR 88,287 million.
Adjusted net profit for H1 was INR 61,141 million, up 4.1% year-over-year.
R&D investment for Q2 was INR 7,827 million (5.4% of sales); H1 R&D was INR 16,855 million (6.0% of sales).
Forex gain for the quarter was INR 4,305 million, up from INR 1,281 million year-over-year.
API external sales for Q2FY26 were INR 4,299 million, down 19.5% year-over-year.
Segment performance
India Formulations accounted for 32.9% of Q2 consolidated sales; market share increased to 8.3%.
Emerging Markets formulation revenues rose 10.9% to $325 million; Rest of World revenues up 17.7% to $234 million.
Ilumya commercialized in 35 markets; strong growth in both generic and innovative segments in Emerging and Rest of World markets.
Nine new products launched in India during Q2.
