Executive summary
H1 2026 revenue rose 13.45% YoY to RM530.7m; profit for the period increased 3.4% to RM21.5m and EPS rose to 2.15 sen from 2.08 sen.
Gross margin improved to 13.32% from 12.93%, while net margin eased to 4.1% from 4.4%.
No interim dividend was recommended; results were unaudited and reviewed by the audit committee.
Financial highlights
Revenue was RM530.7m versus RM467.8m; gross profit rose to RM70.7m from RM60.5m, and profit before tax was RM27.9m versus RM27.4m.
Third-party brand revenue increased RM53.5m and own-brand revenue increased RM9.3m; higher-margin products and cost efficiencies supported gross-margin improvement.
Other income fell to RM3.0m from RM6.4m, mainly reflecting prior-year foreign-exchange gains; finance costs rose to RM1.5m from RM1.0m, and selling and distribution expenses rose to RM32.4m from RM27.4m.
Total comprehensive income was RM21.6m versus RM17.2m.
Outlook and guidance
A northern-region warehouse is under construction and expected to be completed in H2 2026.
Priorities include exploring business opportunities, controlling costs amid high inflation, and improving margins and competitiveness.
