Executive summary
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, rose 5.5% year-over-year to ¥23,799 million, with operating profit up 9.0% to ¥3,834 million and profit attributable to owners of parent up 3.1% to ¥2,668 million.
Comprehensive income increased 4.8% year-over-year to ¥2,681 million.
Financial highlights
Gross profit grew to ¥6,598 million from ¥5,951 million year-over-year.
EBITDA + S increased 14.2% year-over-year to ¥4,131 million.
Basic earnings per share for the quarter were ¥7.46, up from ¥7.24 a year earlier.
Cash and cash equivalents at period end were ¥29,139 million, up from ¥20,122 million year-over-year.
Outlook and guidance
Full-year net sales forecast for fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, is ¥98,000 million, up 3.8% year-over-year.
Operating profit is projected to rise 9.0% to ¥17,250 million, with profit attributable to owners of parent expected to decrease 6.0% to ¥10,630 million.
Annual dividend forecast is ¥18.00 per share, up from ¥14.00 in the previous year.
