The Duckhorn Portfolio, Inc. sells and produces wines in North America as well as select countries around the world under three distinct brand labels: Robert Mondavi Napa Valley, Mondavi Family Estate and Duckhorn. The Company produces approximately 180,000 cases of wine per year that it markets and sells using a three-tier distribution network. The Company markets its products directly to retailers in the United States under the Robert Mondavi Napa Valley brand name and the Mondavi Family Estate brand name. By selling to distributors in certain international markets, including Canada and Japan, under the Duckhorn brand name, it intends to provide its customers with well-known brands that they can readily identify from any region of the world.
