Tremont Mortgage Trust, Inc. (TRMT), formerly Tremont Capital Corp., is a real estate finance company that focuses on originating and investing in first mortgage loans secured by middle market and transitional commercial real estate. TRMT is managed by Tremont Realty Advisors LLC and an indirect subsidiary of The RMR Group Inc. TRMT's investment objective is to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns from our capital invested in first mortgage loans secured by commercial real estate properties, through leveraging our expertise and the relationships that TRMT has built with various lending partners across the country. In 2021, Tremont Mortgage Trust merged with RMR Mortgage Trust. In connection with the merger, the combined company changed its name to “Seven Hills Realty Trust.” The company in its new form begun trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “SEVN” on October 1, 2021.
