Executive summary
Net revenue for Q2 2025 reached RMB 14.8 billion ($2.1 billion), up 16% year over year and 7% sequentially, driven by robust travel demand across all segments and strong holiday travel.
Inbound travel bookings surged over 100% year over year, with strong demand from Korea, Southeast Asia, and national inbound arrivals up 30%.
International business saw over 60% year-over-year growth in reservations, with outbound hotel/air bookings surpassing 120% of 2019 levels and outpacing the broader market by 30-40 percentage points.
Mobile bookings accounted for 70% of total bookings, highlighting the importance of app-based engagement.
AI and technology innovation remain central to strategy, with significant upgrades to the trip planner, hotel tools, and the launch of Intellitrip.
Financial highlights
Net income for Q2 2025 was RMB 4.9 billion ($681 million), up from RMB 3.9 billion a year ago and RMB 4.3 billion in the previous quarter.
Adjusted EBITDA for Q2 was RMB 4.9 billion ($680 million), up from RMB 4.4 billion last year and RMB 4.2 billion sequentially.
Accommodation reservation revenue was RMB 6.2 billion ($869 million), up 21% year over year and 12% quarter over quarter.
Transportation ticketing revenue was RMB 5.4 billion ($753 million), up 11% year over year.
Non-GAAP diluted EPS was RMB 7.20 ($1.01) for the quarter.
Outlook and guidance
Management remains optimistic about long-term travel industry prospects, expecting continued growth in inbound and outbound travel, and is prioritizing innovation and partnerships.
Inbound travel is projected to become a key growth engine as visa policies ease and global appeal rises.
Plans to partner with 200,000 hotels over three years, targeting 100% growth in inbound bookings and new users.
Strategic investments will continue to stimulate global economic advancement and enhance service capabilities.
