Executive summary
Net profit reached ₹5,017 crore for Q3 FY26, up 8.97% year-over-year, surpassing ₹5,000 crore for the first time, with strong business growth and robust asset quality maintained.
Operating profit for Q3 FY26 was ₹6,942 crore, a 7.34% year-over-year decline but a 1.87% sequential increase.
Net Interest Income (NII) for Q3 FY26 was ₹9,328 crore, up 0.95% year-over-year and 5.85% sequentially.
Unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025, were reviewed and approved by the Board on January 14, 2026.
Limited review reports from statutory auditors were issued with unmodified opinions for both standalone and consolidated results.
Financial highlights
Global advances reached ₹10,16,884 crore, up 7.13% year-over-year; global deposits at ₹12,22,856 crore, up 3.36%.
Interest income stood at ₹26,443 crore for the quarter.
Gross NPA ratio improved to 3.06% (from 3.85% YoY); Net NPA at 0.51% (from 0.82% YoY).
Provision coverage ratio reached 95.13% as of December 31, 2025.
Credit cost for 9M FY26 declined to 0.26% from 0.81% in 9M FY25.
Outlook and guidance
Capital adequacy ratio (Basel III) stood at 16.49% standalone and 17.14% consolidated, with CET 1 ratio at 13.94% standalone and 14.61% consolidated.
Board-approved capital plan for FY26 includes raising ₹6,000 crore through equity and bonds.
NIM expected to improve as deposit repricing occurs and cost of funds decrease.
Credit cost guidance remains in the 20-40 basis points range, with no significant impact anticipated from ECL implementation.
Focus on digital transformation, process improvement, and ESG initiatives to drive future growth.
