The Engineered Support Structures segment offers metal and concrete poles for lighting, traffic, communication systems, wireless networks, urban amenities, transportation networks, industrial applications, and renewable energy markets; transmission structures for power transmission markets; engineered access systems comprising cabs on aircraft carriers that are used by deck crews while working on the flight deck of aircraft carriers and other naval ships to provide safe non-hazardous access to personnel operating the catapults and arresting gear during flight operations; towers for wind turbine generators and utility-scale solar structures; steel transmission structures requiring large tonnages and high strength steel with specialized coatings; underground pedestals comprising modular pole bases for use in subterranean environments that allow operators to visually inspect their assets from above ground; and sports lighting poles, field lights, portable trailers for mobile lighting for portable light towers for stadiums and road construction.
