The 77th Annual General Meeting was opened with a welcome to shareholders and an introduction of the agenda, which includes nine items starting with the 2024 financial statement and management report.
The meeting is being streamed online, with the CEO's speech also available to the public.
Shareholders' rights to speak, submit proposals, and vote are facilitated via the online service due to the virtual format.

Financial performance review
Revenue for 2024 grew by 6% to a record EUR 37.6 billion, with over 130 million passengers flown.
Despite high demand, Lufthansa Airlines posted a loss of EUR 94 million due to strikes, high labor costs, and aircraft delivery delays.
Other group entities, including SWISS, Eurowings, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa Technik, and Lufthansa Cargo, achieved strong or record results.
The group achieved an EBIT margin of 8% for the first time, with operational income at EUR 1.6 billion, though below the previous year.
Dividend of EUR 0.30 per share is proposed, matching last year, with a yield of nearly 5%.
