26 Oct, 2026Executive summary
FY2010-11 turnover fell 22.1% to Rs. 15,543.76 lakh, mainly after the API business sale; net loss was Rs. 21,778.91 lakh, driven by sale loss and FCCB charges.
Excluding the API sale loss, FCCB redemption premium and FCCB foreign-exchange loss, formulation operations were described as gradually improving.
The balance sheet faced severe pressure: FCCBs remained in default and net worth was fully eroded at 31 March 2011; a BIFR reference was planned after AGM adoption of accounts.

International formulations were expected to benefit from further US ANDA approvals, complex and niche product development, European registrations and expansion in semi-regulated markets.
