Investor Day 2026 summary
12 Oct, 2026Strategic direction
Four priorities: strengthen the Canadian base, expand internationally, improve manufacturing and innovation, and allocate capital with disciplined ROI focus.
Long-term aim: turn market positions and capabilities into profitable growth, consistent cash generation, and shareholder value.
Compared with the prior market-share-led approach, profitability now takes priority in Canada; brand and SKU reductions will be gradual while preserving revenue and building brand strength.
Over four to five years, management could reduce the brand and SKU count to half of current levels; SHRED, BOXHOT, and Big Bag O' Buds are key brands, alongside some regional brands.
Capital decisions will favor fewer opportunities with clear returns, assessed for strategic fit, bottom-line contribution, cash generation, liquidity, and ROI.
Canadian business, operations, and innovation
SKU count fell ~10% over the past year; selected low-margin wholesale white-label segments were exited, supporting margin improvement.
Moncton cultivation yield increased by 30,000 kg; average potency exceeded 30% in Q3. Faster room turnaround added capacity for >3,300 kg annually with virtually no capex.
Shifting 95 grow rooms to alternating day/night schedules reduced electricity costs by ~CAD 85,000 monthly while maintaining production performance.
Automation projects are planned over the next few months to reduce COGS; Q2-to-Q3 complaints fell 28% for vapes and 29% for pre-rolls.
Canada-only gross margin target is mid-40s, supported by cultivation efficiency, SKU rationalization, and prioritizing more profitable products.
International expansion
Sanity transformed the geographic mix: international revenue rose from ~10% in FY2025 to ~35% after consolidation in Q3; its segment reported EUR 25.5m two quarters after Q4 2025 revenue of EUR 19m.
Sanity generated EUR 9m revenue in 2023, EUR 19m in 2024, and EUR 60m in 2025; its German medical brand avaay was estimated to lead by market share.
Germany is the current scale market; management expects its medical market to double by 2028, with Sanity at an annualized revenue run rate above EUR 100m.
By FY2027 year-end, international and Canadian revenue could be much more balanced; longer term, the goal is a diversified business with predominantly international, higher-margin revenue.
Expansion is underway in Switzerland and the U.K.; Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, and Ukraine are in development, with all three expected to generate revenue within 18 months.
