Standalone EBITDA margin fell to 3.5% from 7.1%, reflecting weak M&HCV and LCV demand, unfavorable mix, marketing costs and higher depreciation.

Outlook and guidance
A domestic turnaround plan targets bottom-line improvement in FY2018, with execution priorities including supply constraints, cost reduction, customer service and timely launches.
Planned FY2018 investment was ₹400 billion for capacity, products and technology; Jaguar Land Rover expected investment spending above £4 billion.
FY2018 CV plans included 10 launches across medium, heavy and intermediate vehicles; Nexon was planned for launch, while Jaguar Land Rover targeted electrification options on half its models by 2020.
The outlook cited premium-market opportunity but remained cautious amid Brexit and geopolitical uncertainty.
