Stifel 2026 Virtual Immunology and Inflammation Forum summary
22 Oct, 2026Leadership transition
Eric Dube plans to depart after nearly eight years; Bradley Campbell is scheduled to become CEO on Dec. 1, with experience in rare disease, HCU, FSGS and enzyme replacement therapy.
Dube cited health issues after prioritizing delivery of the first medicine for the FSGS community; he said the business is in a strong position and its best years lie ahead.
FILSPARI commercial outlook
FILSPARI generated 2,012 patient start forms in the prior quarter across IgAN and FSGS; management expects strong, sustainable demand in both indications, while noting one quarter is insufficient to establish trends.
FSGS uptake may reach peak sooner than IgAN, reflecting a smaller, more severe population and a launch without IgAN’s rolling approval and REMS milestones; summer seasonality may affect near-term trends.
Physician uptake was broad: 30% of FSGS prescribers had not previously prescribed for IgAN, while 70% of FILSPARI-prescribing physicians already treated IgAN patients; use spans FSGS subtypes excluding active nephrotic syndrome.
Gross-to-net is expected in the mid-20% range for the balance of the year; 3Q and 4Q are expected slightly above 2Q, partly due to greater CMS exposure in FSGS than IgAN.
Management sees approved therapies and combination use expanding the IgAN market in line with KDIGO guidance; earlier FILSPARI initiation is contributing to growth, with early signs of combination use and limited payer barriers.
FILSPARI intellectual property
IgAN method-of-use patent is listed in the Orange Book with an October 2037 date; a similar FSGS notice of allowance is expected to support Orange Book listing through October 2037.
Management also expects a patent term extension and is pursuing additional applications, describing protection as a portfolio approach supporting continued investment and evidence generation.
